Short bio
Blind Joe is a rowdy, faith-driven country singer-songwriter. Born three months premature and totally blind, he was raised on Hank Williams and Merle Haggard by his accordion-playing Grandpa Bob. He toured with David Allan Coe in 2008 and has opened for John Anderson, John Hiatt, Jamey Johnson, Travis Tritt, Steve Perry, Buddy Guy and Bret Michaels. In 2015 he turned all four chairs on NBC's The Voice and won his battle round on Team Blake. His 2021 anthem "I Will Not Comply" went viral around the world after YouTube pulled it down three times. Today he records with Nashville pickers, keeps the rights to every song, and plays shows across the country.
